Wawa Wake

Wawa Wake sits at Wspólna 80, in Bielawa by Konstancin-Jeziorna. The drive from central Warsaw is about twenty minutes; it is about ten kilometres from Kabaty metro station, and bus L14 also runs here. The park is on a natural lake, among trees.

There are two cables, booked as the left and right lines. Features on the courses suit mixed levels. One rider is on the line at a time, and the lesson is individual: an instructor is on site and fits a board, helmet, vest and, when needed, a wetsuit. Coaching uses BB Talkin headsets, so the rider hears the instructor during the set. Being able to swim is not required, but it is worth saying so before the start. The operator prefers riders from about eight or nine years old. After booking on the site, arrive a quarter of an hour early to get the gear fitted.

On land there are sandy beaches with sunbeds, umbrellas and canopies. There are five beach-volleyball courts, beach tennis, an exercise area, a floating playground and a corner for small children. A restaurant serves grill and pizza, and there is a beach bar. The calendar sometimes has a DJ or live music. Entry to the grounds is free.
